Mr. Stewart Valencia is AV rated by the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Registry. Mr. Valencia is an experienced litigator with over 20 years of civil and criminal trial work to his credit. Mr. Valencia graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1994 and continued on to St. Thomas University School of Law, wherein he was honored with the Dean’s List and completed his Juris Doctor degree. Mr. Valencia graduated early in December of 1997 and was subsequently admitted to the Florida Bar in May of 1998.
Mr. Valencia was admitted to the Federal Bar through the United States District Court for the Southern District in January of 2003, and to the United States District Court for the Middle District in November of 2015.

Mr. Kenneth Cohen, who was a senior partner at Holman, Cohen & Valencia, is now of counsel to Stewart Valencia P.A. He is AV rated by the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Registry. Mr. Cohen has completed more than fifty jury trials in his 42 plus years as a licensed attorney in the State of Florida.
Mr. Cohen specializes in civil trial work including serious personal injury and wrongful death cases. In addition, Mr. Cohen has represented claimants in insurance policy coverage cases for both property loss and life insurance claims.
Mr. Cohen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami in 1973 graduating Magna Cum Laude and he also received his law degree from the University of Miami in 1976.
After graduating from the University of Miami, Mr. Cohen served as a research assistant for the Honorable Norman Hendry, Chief Judge of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeals. Later, Mr. Cohen served as an Assistant State Attorney prosecuting economic and white-collar fraud crimes.
In private practice, Mr. Cohen was the Managing Partner of the Miami Branch office of the international law firm of Kroll & Tract and, for the last nineteen years, has been a senior partner with the Hollywood, Florida law firm of Holman, Cohen & Valencia.
